Aims & Scope
Baku Mathematical Journal (Baku Math. J.) is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal that publishes original research in pure and applied mathematics and closely related mathematical areas of mechanics. The journal aims to advance mathematical knowledge by providing a rigorous and freely accessible forum for researchers worldwide.
The journal welcomes submissions that make a clear scholarly contribution to mathematical theory, methods, modeling, or applications. Papers in mechanics are considered when they have a strong mathematical component and are closely connected to mathematical research.
Subject Areas
- Pure mathematics, including algebra, analysis, topology, geometry, number theory, logic, combinatorics, and related fields.
- Applied mathematics, including differential equations, mathematical physics, numerical analysis, optimization, probability, statistics, and related fields.
- Spectral theory, inverse problems, operator theory, and boundary value problems.
- Mathematical modeling and computational methods.
- Mathematically oriented solid mechanics.
- Mathematically oriented fluid mechanics and gas mechanics.
- Other areas where the manuscript presents a substantial mathematical contribution relevant to the journal's scope.
Article Types
- Research papers: original research papers up to 24 pages in length. Papers exceeding this limit should be pre-agreed with the Editorial Board.
- Survey papers: invited survey papers requested by the Editorial Board.
The journal does not normally consider manuscripts that are mainly expository, technical, or applied without a clear mathematical contribution.
