About This Journal

Baku Mathematical Journal (Baku Math. J.) follows the principles of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and is committed to maintaining transparency, integrity, and fairness in scholarly publishing.

Journal History

Baku Mathematical Journal was established by the Department of Mathematics of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University in Baku, Azerbaijan. The journal was created to provide an open access forum for international research in pure and applied mathematics and closely related areas of mechanics.

The journal has been published since 2022. In 2026, the journal migrated to the Digital Commons platform to improve visibility, strengthen metadata and publishing workflows, and support wider dissemination of its published content.

Publishing Schedule

The journal is published semiannually, with two issues released each year. Articles are published online as the version of record after acceptance, production, and assignment to the appropriate issue.

Open Access and Fees

Baku Mathematical Journal provides immediate open access to all published content. Articles are freely available online without subscription, paywall, or registration barriers for readers or their institutions.

The journal does not charge submission fees, review fees, Article Processing Charges (APCs), publication fees, page charges, or subscription fees. The journal is supported by the Department of Mathematics of Azerbaijan State Oil and Industry University.

Digital Archiving

To safeguard long-term access to its scholarly content, the journal participates in CLOCKSS digital preservation. Portico preservation is currently in progress. All published articles are assigned Digital Object Identifiers (DOIs) through Crossref, providing persistent links to the version of record.

Baku Mathematical Journal is indexed, listed, or discoverable in the following services: zbMATH Open, Crossref, Index Copernicus, Scilit, and Google Scholar.
