INFORMATION FOR AUTHORS

Terms of Submission

The Baku Mathematical Journal (Baku Math. J.) publishes research papers up to 24 pages in length and survey papers requested by the Editorial Board. Research papers exceeding this page limit should be pre-agreed with the Editorial Board.

By submitting a manuscript, the author acknowledges that it is original and not under simultaneous consideration by any other journal. Papers should be written in English.

Preparing a manuscript for submission

The manuscript file must be prepared according to the journal's LaTeX class file or sample file.

References should be listed in alphabetical order and all entries in the reference list must be cited in the text. Titles of periodicals should be abbreviated in accordance with "Mathematical Reviews". The following are sample references:

1. Aliev A.R., Eyvazov E.H. Finite-difference proof of the completeness of eigenfunctions of the Sturm-Liouville operator in conservative form. Comput. Math. Math. Phys., 2015, 55 (1), pp. 1-7.
2. Simon B. Functional Integration and Quantum Physics. Academic Press, New York–London, 1979.

Submission to Baku Math. J.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Authors are asked to send both TeX and PDF files as attachments to their mails.

Peer Review

A manuscript will be considered by an editor and, if it is judged appropriate for the journal, the editors will handle the peer review process. Papers are sent to two or three referees for evaluation. The final decision on publication is made by the Editorial Board.

Copy Editing and Proofs

Baku Math. J. will copy edit the manuscript to make it suitable for final publication. Authors are requested to prepare the manuscript carefully before submitting it for publication to minimize corrections in the proof stage. The proofs sent to the corresponding author must be returned to the editors within five days of their receipt.

Publication

A paper is considered published when it appears online in the journal's Online First section. The paper remains accessible in the Online First section until it is included in a print issue of the journal.

Print Issue

When a paper is included in a print issue, the version available in Online First section is updated to include the final citation details. These details are volume/issue number, publication year and page numbers. The paper moves on the journal's web site from the Online First area into the appropriate volume and issue in the Volumes section.

Copyright

Authors retain the copyright to their work and give the journal right of first publication, being licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution License which allows others to share the work with an acknowledgment of the work’s authorship and initial publication in this journal.
